Happy Tuesday Ladies! I hope you are all doing splendid! This year, I have decided to unashamedly pursue length! Overall, I do all I can to try and keep my hair healthy and this year, I hope that health can translate to some credible hang time! I will not stop breathing if am not Rapunzel at the end of the year, I still intend to fully enjoy my Natural Hair Journey so will not be taking anything toooooo seriously! I have tweaked up my hair care regimen a wee bit, take a look at this video and see what am doing to aid my journey! Bless up Ladies! xx

That is very interesting post. This is my seventh year of having natural hair except for occasional flat irons or else it is kept braided somehow. Anyway, it is not an easy journey, my hair did much better with perms in Nigeria until i got here and i had to do the big chop, so far my hair has texture and body and it is a lot healthier. You can do it. Unfortunately i am not in Nigeria so feel free to pass on the recharge card to the next person but i would appreciate a visit on my blog. i would be back

Thank you for watching and commenting Sis!So far I can say that my nails have grown and are really strong.I think the Biotin may have something to do with it!So if anything,I will continue to take Biotin for my nails!Seeing as I had some luck on my Castor Oil Challenge last year, hopefully JBCO will help me yield some better results!Bless up Sis!

DeleteI have the same plan oo! I lol... Growing my hair n retaining length was my new year resolution. Sadly I have to go get a trim soon. But its for the health of my hair so I am okay with it... I have been meaning to try this castor oil challenge.. You have inspired me to try it out this period.

Thank you for watching and commenting Sis!Get the trim,it will only help in helping you retain health.Atleast trimming off the dead ends will mean that you avoid breakage from splits travelling up your hair shaft.Lets grow together Sis lol!Bless up!
DeleteThat's a good one! Maybe I just might take my hair more seriously this year, too! serenataphy@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteHi. Approximately how long is natural hair supposed to be after a year of growth?
ReplyDeleteHi Sis!Apparently hair grows on average half an inch a month,so therefore if you are able to successfully retain all of your length, you should have about six inches of new growth at the end of the year.Although some people claim to gain an inch or sometimes less, growth is really different from person to person.
ReplyDeleteMy number one hair gal ths yr - length retention!
ReplyDeletegoal this yr lol
DeleteYes Sis!I just want to see if I'll be whipping my hair over my shoulders at the end of the year!lol!
