How to Care for Your Child's Edges and Grow It
Saturday, 6 August 2016
The edges of the hair is one of the most delicate part of your child's hair. Knowing how to care for it is very important and it will help with growing the edges.. The way you care for their edges will either cause breakage or cause natural hair growth.
In this video, I create a mixture of castor oil (8oz) and 8 drops of peppermint oil, an essential oil.
You can pour this mixture in an applicator bottle. I got mine here from my local beauty supply store.
For daily use, you have to moisturize the edges using a shorten LOC method without the moisturizing cream. If you do choose to use a cream, make sure it is a light cream. When hair stops growing, it could be because the pores are clogged due to heavy cream. I choose not to use creams.
First, spray the edges with water, and gently massage oil mixture on it. Your natural hair regimen for night routine for natural hair edges is equally important.
When laying edges or doing baby hairs on your edges, be very gentle, do not do this daily.

I care for my edges by making sure I don't stress it in the first place.
