Chimamanda's Natural Hair look: Hit or miss?

Hi Naturalistas
I know most of you are already familiar with the pretty Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie. One of the most interesting things about her is the way she chooses to wear her hair. She is one very strong woman and one thing I admire about her is her fearlessness. Continuing in her fearless stride, this is how Chimamanda rocked her hair to the premier of half of a yellow sun in London.

        It really brought out her cute face :)

She looks pretty, however, I think that is such a daring look.
What's your take? Hit or miss?

    These are the kind of things I like, and is something I can definitely do. In my opinion, it is definitely a hit.

    Personally,nahh! On the red carpet for that matter. It's a miss for me. I think there are more stylish ways to rock natural hair.

    I love it!My Mum used to do her hair exactly like this when I was a child!Sleeping must have been a nightmare though because she was always in a VICIOUS mood in the morning!

      I, along with others who could care less about naysayers wear our hair like that. I'm sure she took down the style when she got home or packed it flat like the style I have on now.
      It's def a HIT. better than Brazilian weaves, the traditional style is appropriate for the stories she writes about

    I'll start saying i love her dress. Color, length, the cut out bit, very gorg.

    Errmm to the hair, i am sure it is not for me and like Ebun said, their are more stylish styles that one could rock on the red carpet.
    But i guess she was going for the 'dare to be different look' so it worked in that regard.
