Upcoming Natural Hair Meet-ups in GHANA and NIGERIA

Hello everyone,

Last week I posted photos from Salon Day Out, and today I want to give you a heads up and some upcoming hair events in Nigeria and Ghana as well. Before you head out, don't forget to read my guide on attending hair meetups! If you see anyone of us at the events, please be sure to say hello as we like meeting our readers :)

TOMORROW, JUNE 20TH - LAGOS - Naturals In The City

The theme for this meet up is KEEPING IT REAL. You really can't have a theme like that without a sex talk. Yep! You heard right. A S.E.X. talk. There is a lot that lots of ladies need to learn. I don't want to give too much away so I am going to just leave it here.
It is a hair meet up after all, so there will be hair talks. The beautiful Yellow Sisi will be one of the hair speakers. Although it is hair meet up, we try to cover all fronts - including keeping our body healthy. To this end, Esta Morenikeji, fitness guru and trainer, will be there  to talk about the benefits of exercise and more.

Venue: The Social Place, 33 Sinari Daranijo Street, VI.
Time: 1:30 - 5:30
Attendance: N500.

SATURDAY, JUNE 27TH - LAGOS - Locs Appreciation Day

LAD is a day set aside to celebrate locs worldwide and Lagos will be holding it down with our 2nd meet up yet.....

Host: Bassey Ikpi
Panel discussion featuring Ade Bantu, Tosyn Bucknor and our very own Atilola on "Why I cut my Locs".

There will be performances, DIY Styling tips, how to choose your products, giveaways and the first 30 guests get free cocktails! Tell a loc head. It will be plenty fun.

Venue: Ember Creek, Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi.
Time: 4pm - 9pm
