Lol. I'm sorry, I laughed internally when I saw that part.
ReplyDeleteIt reminded me of when I mistakenly cut my hair when I was cutting off extensions before taking down all back Ghana weaving over 10 years ago. So it occurred to me that I had cut off the extensions along with my hair. and I had done the for about 7 of dem. That period, I was so obsessed with long hair. I cried and cried and cried. The more I cried, the more my brother laughed at me. And it even made me cry more.
In the end, three quarter part of my hair, was longer that the first quarter. I totally refused to cut them in order to make them equal. After a while, everything evened out. lol.
I don't even know why I cried that much, as I am not really mushy or a drama queen.
Awwwww Sis! Believe me, I wailed!!!! My Hubby was so disgusted and unsympathetic, it just added to my distress! Its growing back though,so I have simmered down some lol! Thank you for watching Sis! Bless up!
DeleteOH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor thing. I like your sense of humor with the captions though.
As the original drama queen, I know I'd have cut off my whole hair in despair :p
LOL Sis!This natural hair thing is not called a 'Journey' for nothing! It is hard!I am pampering my hair now,it has become my other child!Believe me i almost cut off the whole thing but now I'll just be happy with a patch of hair that is shorter than the rest.Thank you for watching and commenting Sis!
DeleteIts still not over yet, you can still have your hair back, just be patient.
ReplyDeleteIndian Hair
Thank you Sis!Believe me,since going natural I have become so so patient! Its just another hiccup along the way!Thank you so much for watching and commenting!Bless up!
DeleteOops, I don't think I ever want that happening to me. I'm so obsessed with length. It's good you are able to move on from it. I know I'll still be crying whenever I see that short patch of hair. myrebornhair.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSis,my heart aches afresh everytime I look at that patch! But the pain is lessening as the hair grows in.My Mum in Law is so sweet,She even bought me a bottle of Jamaican Black Castor Oil so now I have the opportunity to actually test it!Thank you for watching and commenting Sis,So greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeletehow did you son get his gum stuck in your hair? Adults use to warn us against keeping a chewing gum in our mouth overnight because it could end up in our hair! And i've seen people with gum stuck in their hair! at least you're able to cover the small patch up, so its not so obvious.
ReplyDeleteSo when is your son coming back home to mommy?
I was taking a nap and I think he found the gum laying around somewhere because he is not even allowed to have chewing gum.He came to join me and fell asleep, the gum fell off because he breathes through his mouth when asleep.I rolled onto it and voila!Actually thank God it ended up on my hair and did not harm him!I know, thats the beauty of natural hair, you can hide a multitude of sins because its so big!LOL,am still trying to decide when to have him back he he he No Sis,my lil soldier is right here with his Mama!
