Alanta! Azonto! Galala! Suo! Etigi! Shakitibobo! Kukere! Skelewu! Shoki! Yahozee! Which other one again?
I am dancing all the Nigerian dances I can think of, and I believe I’m a pretty good dancer. My sister has put to bed again. Boma is now officially an elder sister, and I am now a second-time aunty. I am so glad she had a safe delivery. At a point, we were very anxious as we did not want her to have another miscarriage so God came through for us.
This time, she had a boy. Equation has balanced. But the fact that he’s a boy doesn’t mean I don’t have plans for his hair. He’s the cutest boy ever, and I see an afro on his head. I know my sister will be a bit sceptical about that seeing she just fully embraced the whole natural hair thing this year, but I would play my cards right.
I would make sure my new born nephew has a gigantic afro by the time he’s two years old, and then I would get a stylist to weave his hair from time to time, while I quickly take pictures, and upload them for the world to see. He would be a male natural hair child model. In fact, I might make him and Boma natural hair kid celebs, and they would become more popular that chichiromeoandme.
A girl can dream, right?
I have always had the fantasy of weaving my son’s hair. I think I will ask Dimeji about that. Are there primary schools in Nigeria who would allow a boy weave his hair? I want my son to be so cool that all his friends, teachers would be so all over him, and the headmaster would be so envious, and would be like

Anyway, my sister has just had a son, and I would be experimenting my fantasies on him. Let’s see how that plays out.

Oh no. When we say weaving in Nigeria, we don't mean weaves. We mean flat braids, lol. Like the kind American rappers wear.
