Moisturizing Spritz For Natural Hair
Thursday, 31 October 2013
Hi Ladies!
Today I'm going be sharing various recipes for your moisturizing spritz i.e a concoction that is used to give your hair that much needed moisture in between washes and/or styling. Let's move over the basic Water and Glycerine mix and spice things up.
1. 1/3 cup of Aloe vera juice
3 tsp of Vegetable glycerin
1 tsp of Leave-in conditioner
2. 1/3 cup of Aloe vera juice or distilled water
2 drops of Tea tree oil
2 tsp of Coconut oil
3. 1/3 cup of Rose water
3 tsp of Glycerin
1 tsp of Honey
2 tsp of Olive oil
Personally, i use
Water
Glycerine
Olive Oil
Castor Oil
Honey
Aloe vera
African Naturalistas Leave-in Conditioner(which btw is AWESOME!)
It depends on the quantity you want and the size of your spray bottle. Personally, i just eyeball the measurements.
When making your own hair spritz keep in mind the basics; water or liquid, an humectant (i.e. glycerin, honey), the ingredient to combat your hair issue (i.e. tea tree for itchy scalp), and an oil to bring it all together.
Alright Ladies
Till next time
Stay Beautiful
