Threaded Cornrow Hairstyle (African Threading) Natural Hair Kids
Saturday, 5 March 2016
As a child, I loved getting my hair threaded because it was so easy to undo. My children have also developed the same love for African Threading with "owu". My only issue is that when we thread completely around the hair, the hair can be so hard to keep moisturized and feels very brittle after takedown.
In the video below, I show how to modernize African Threading to make it more moisturizing and fun.
Enjoy. Click here if you cannot view the video.

DeleteEdge protection is key for everybody.
DeleteAs a child I disliked threading of any sort. Even as an adult I still detest them from owu to wool etc. I can't bear the pain. My scalp is to delicate that even tying scarf is a no no for me
ReplyDeleteThis is very creative.
ReplyDelete@discovering natural is creative with her kids hair
DeleteI haven't even fully learnt how to flat twist not to talk of threaded cornrows. Creative hairstyle tho.
