ReplyDeleteInformative.I remember searching just to get info on this for my sister.Nigerians usually think its always dandruff and only treat for that.Any long lasting remedy?
ReplyDeleteYes, as long as they see white scales, they call it dandruff. If your sister suspects seborrheic dermatitis, let her see me or any other trichologist for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
DeleteDoes the use of castor oil and other herbs clear it?
ReplyDeleteLol, no it doesn't. There's the need for topical medication to manage the condition.

ReplyDeletePlease let her see me or any other trichologist to get a true diagnosis so she can manage the condition well.
DeleteI saw a tutorial whereby a mum placed warm oil on the cracked areas to combat the flakes....
ReplyDeleteThat's only getting rid of the symptom, and not really managing the condition.
