Revisiting Shunned Natural Hair Products: Cantu Leave In Conditioner.

Happy Tuesday Ladies! Have you ever completely shunned a Natural Hair Product only to revisit it and find that it actually works wonders for your hair? When we first go natural, a lot of us are continuously tempted by the constant and steady flow of new products in the market that cater to the broadening Natural Hair Market.
Along the way, you find your 'Yes', 'No' and even 'Maybe I can try again Products.' One such product for me, that firmly landed in the 'No' Category was the well renowned and acclaimed Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner.....

  4. I love Cantu. My spray bottle always includes African Naturalistas leave-in, and also Cantu.

  5. Unfortunately the Cantu Leave In Conditioner really is a bust for me because I am protein sensitive. Can't use coconut oil either lol. But I am impressed the Cantu has so much hold, I'll be looking into products that could do that for me.

  6. I have never tried the product before. I keep reading mix review about it and let's just say I am comfortable with what I am already using.

  7. I haven't tried this product before but revisiting shunned products is good @ times. At the start of my hair journey I bought ecostyler gel( as the reigning gel lol) but it itches me like crazy , so I dumped the tub somewhere.
However this morning I had to put my hair in a bun and I wanted my edges sleek so I slapped on some gel. Surprisingly, it didn't itch me. Am still curious though.

  8. It does absolutely nothing to my hair. Can't wait for the one I bought to finish so I can switch products.

  10. I want Cantu as well, it's on the "to buy" list. Haven't revisited many "busts" I only go back to faves I know worked for my hair in the past.

  11. I love Cantu! But when I do my weekly LOC, I use sweet almond or avocado oil in the O step, after the Cantu. Its heavy, and it takes some getting used to, but I find I only need to refresh moisture by the third day. But as she said, it doesn't like olive oil.

  12. Cantu is a really throwback product! When I went natural many women where using it at the time, now it seems to have died down. I do know it is great for twist outs and braid outs but can be a tad heavy for some hair types
