How To Stretch Natural Hair by Banding



After washing natural hair, there is always shrinkage. The banding method is great for kids because using heat can damage her hair. It gives some stretch to the hair, which helps reduce breakage and tangles.

    Banding is great,but threading works far better for me.its amazing to see how far natural hair stretches.

      Yes, threading stretches more, but for me, it takes longer. Natural Hair is amazing.

      For me, this is faster and also I find threading dries up her hair. In terms of cost effective, it all depends. The bands are reusable and I never reuse my threads.

    It looks nice and can be a protective style for kids. But I love threading or braids, does the job of stretching my hair well.

    Banding looks nice and simple, but I can't bring myself to use all my hair bands at once. I like to keep guard over them because I inevitably end up losing them and need to restock from my stash.

    One of these days though, I'll try it and also threading.
