Hello everyone!
In recent natural hair news everyone has been touching everyone's hair and nobody's taking it lightly.
A few weeks ago, Teyonah Parris angrily ranted about an old man touching her hair without her permission and calling it 'stimulating'. How does that? Less than a week later, Selma Director, Ava DuVernay tweeted about her locs being touched by a random stranger at the train station. This time, another woman pressed charges on her behalf for harassment.
What is going on?
Why are people going around touching other people's hair without permission? A black woman's hair for that matter.
Is it that fascinating or are they simply playing pranks?
I mean, I would take offense if any random person touches my hair without my permission.
Would you?
What do you think? Share your thoughts!
Love, kinks and knots.

The anger shouldn't even be about natural hair - why would anyone put their hands on you without first asking?! It's such an invasion of personal space.
ReplyDeleteI think touching people's hair without their knowledge is just rude

ReplyDeleteAs long as they ask for permission, and they are not fondling it. Just to feel the texture, and get your hands off.
