Moisture challenge - how are you getting ready???

Immediately after it was decided that we were going to be doing the moisture challenge, I ran to the salon to take down my braids, even though it was just few days shy from 3 weeks. After taking out the braids, I did a hot oil treatment with my DOO GRO MEGA THICK GROWTH OIL (great oil) and then I co washed with my SULPHATE FREE conditioner.

Then, I went ahead to LOC, sealing with my KUZA INDIAN HEMP hair cream.

The next day, I went to the market bought some lemons, cucumber, mint leaves, spinach and a smaller spray bottle! I plan not to only moisturise my hair but to also moisturise and grow it from the inside.
I also bought a smaller spray bottle, so I can carry it everywhere I go, as for my spray bottle content, it would consist of water, African naturalista leave in conditioner, olive oil, coconut and castor oil.

As soon as Tomi says we are "good to go", I would be all set. Besides, I have been warming up..

I don't know why I am so excited about this moisture challenge, maybe it's cause I know it would do my hair a lot of good this harmattan season (who else can feel the harmattan breeze already).

So, that's how I am prepping for the moisture challenge .How are you preparing and any special tips on how to grow and retain length during this challenge? Please give us some insight into how you getting all set for this for this challenge in the comment section.

SIDE BAR ::: am thinking matting for protective styling , the ones that would last a week,so I can always have full access to my hair..

Bukola's excitement is getting to me. I don't have a good record with hair challenges so I was going to sit this one out; but this is wonderful cos it's an essential step and I've not been doing it as much as I should. Sign me up
