Hi ladies! Happy friday
Yes, i've been awol quite a bit. I just started a new job in a different city, so the past few weeks have been a bit overwhelming. Buuuut, im back :-)
No doubt hair growth is usually the top of the list for most people's hair journeys. I have to admit there is something about big bad long hair that makes a woman feel so good. Anyway I was alerted to this technique twice during the past week. It claims to give you overnight hair growth. .Also it seems to have been trending quite a bit on youtube as well
Procedure:
1. Mix 2 eggs with any oil of your choice and apply to your hair.
2. Cover with a plastic cap and leave for 2 hours
3. Rinse off
4. Saturate your hair and scalp with coconut oil, massage for some minutes
5.Cover with a plastic cap and then leather or satin scarf and go to sleep
6. Rinse out in the morning ans style your hair as usual
*Note check your length before and after for results.
My thoughts? Well i'm quite skeptical and I think overnight growth is really pushing it. Growth in a week, yeah i'll take that.
I've been trying to upload the video I watched, alas the internet is being silly with me. But just search youtube under the title "grow your hair overnight", and you will find a plethora of videos with ladies all using this method, alternating the oil that is mixed with the eggs.
Will I try it? Yes! Just to see whether or not it actually works for me. Right now i'm in a weave, so it gives me something to look forward to testing when I take this bad boy out.
*A word to the wise, this incorporates eggs which are a DIY protein treatment, and coconut oil, which aids in protein retention. It's not suitable for those with protein sensitive hair.
Furthermore since it acts as a protein treatment, it should ideally be done once a month.
Hair growth overnight??? No way!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll be trying this. I hate eggs and to think I'll be putting it in my hair?!!!#pukes I'd rather stick to a slow one year journey. LOL
