Also, the longer you leave the braid in for, the more buildup you get and if you didn't wash your hair when you had the style, the build up will harden and can be very difficult to remove. You could have soaked up your hair in a slippery conditioner mixed with oils and then gently use your fingers to go through each "clumped" hair.
this would take some time and will require a lot of patience, but at least you'll be left with hair.

To soften your hair, please read this post http://www.africanaturalistas.com/2012/05/how-to-make-your-natural-hair-softer.html
and to ensure that your next protective style doesn't end up in another big chop, please read this post http://www.africanaturalistas.com/2013/07/when-protective-styling-is-not.htmlAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10781183683258691645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6143366796764247140.post-81984410240222725672013-08-20T20:38:56.436+01:002013-08-20T20:38:56.436+01:00Microbraids matted my hair so I had to cut it all ...Microbraids matted my hair so I had to cut it all off last night. I did the single plaits on my hair after my weekend DC. Started out because I was bored but realised that it was properly more beneficial to do it so I didn't have to comb my hair everyday and it also makes it easier to moisturize my scalp. However, because I am so rubbish at plaits, the results were not at all neat, so I wear a wig when I'm going out. I am happy with it though. I know these things take time. Looking forward to being able to try out these great hair styles!Mo'delehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06050788322587880143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6143366796764247140.post-84569945502606686452012-06-25T19:59:46.681+01:002012-06-25T19:59:46.681+01:00i went natural three days agao wooho! my hair used...i went natural three days agao wooho! my hair used to be so thin when relaxed een though im blessed with natural gold coloured hAi. i threaded for a while to let it grow long then cut it. i feel so free!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6143366796764247140.post-38976665239512013852011-10-12T21:03:19.959+01:002011-10-12T21:03:19.959+01:00Hi Natural Sister!!
