I bought lotta body setting lotion hoping it will make my twistouts last longer. it ended up being crunchy and sticky. I gave that away to a salon and then in a fit of junkism bought Motions light hold working spritz because it promised to give light hold (for my twist outs and flexi rollersets ) and humidity resistant (for my flatironed hair)....a product fail for me...my flatironed hair poofed up as soon as the product hit it and it makes my twistouts feel too crunchy but has no stickiness tho.Hadassah Agbapshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04771225134423653728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6143366796764247140.post-81036920289639309112012-11-10T11:19:35.742+01:002012-11-10T11:19:35.742+01:00You can use the leave in while twisting your hair ...You can use the leave in while twisting your hair and then seal in with olive oil.
you can also use it on your dry tips after braiding or weaving.
On wash days, you can use it on damp hair and then seal in with your preferred light oil. They all worked, but i can't remember which worked the best, except the gel took the longest to dry. It will make your hair look jet black.

Just know that using this treatment over a period of time has been known to loosen curl pattern. This means that after sustained use, your hair should be less curly and a little straighter.Natural Nigerianhttp://www.naturalnigerian.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6143366796764247140.post-27511263925550704682012-03-03T18:19:25.949+01:002012-03-03T18:19:25.949+01:00I learnt the PH thing from you oo. You can even dilute with Aloe Vera Gel to further reduce the pH and make it a more moisturizing "shampoo".

Henna Blocks? Haven't seen those before. Do they contain Indigo? Because to make your hair darker, they are going to have to contain that.

Your Leave-In can be used as part of your three step moisturizing process. Spritz with water, use a leave-in conditioner and then seal with a butter or oil. Sometimes, I knock off the water and do just the last 2 steps. My rationale is that conditioner contains water so I can still gain moisture.

Setting Lotion is used as Nat Mane described. As far as I know, they will give you a strong hold.
