Hello everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, I made my first set of flat-twists. This is particularly a big deal to me because it signifies progress in self-styling. Trust me, a good percentage of naturals cannot even cornrow their hair talk less of flat-twisting. So, yeah I'm stoked to have crossed that bridge. I've always thought they're were complicated so I stayed away without even trying. Right now, I just need to practice and perfect it.

Once thing is undeniable though. Flat-Twists are are more chic, less basic and generally better alternative to cornrows. It just stands out effortlessly.

For those of you that are open it, here's some inspiration.

Which are your faves?

  1. Congrats on crossing a styling hurdle o.I find flat-twisting very easy actually, its like twisting in a cornrow fashion. To me one isn't necessarily better than the other, there is a place for both styles, but I have to agree that flat-twisting is the bizness and makes a style just look differnt, not to mention its really quick to do.
