Finghair Tips Thursday: Hair Care

  1. Actually, no. Reasons being 1. I wash my hair weekly so my scalp doesn't suffer from product buildup. 2. My hair tends to get very brittle, the products with cones help a lot with slip and softness especially on washdays I don't feel like deep conditioning. 3. I'm quite heavy handed with products, and considering that I go through said products too damn quick, the cheap ones mostly have cones in them. Its good for my pocket, I don't have to go broke trying to replace them every time.

  3. Had to go check my products ASAP.for now the only product with major cones is my heat protectant, which is expected and as i rarely use heat and i have a chelating shampoo it works out great.Others do have a little amount, but nothing im bothered with.i would using a product with a chock full of cones, especially if it claims to be a moisturizer, but i wouldn't avoid one if the cone comes in as water soluble or way down the ingredient list.

    1. Yeah, its really good to monitor the usage, and see if any of them is leading to build up.

  6. I've stopped or minimized cone based products in my stash. I realized cone free conditioners left my hair better moisturized.
